This is a short-term process occurring in response to tissue injury, traumas, allergies and usually appearing within minutes or hours. It shows by the five cardinal signs of inflammation: pain, redness, loss of function, swelling and heat.

Chronic Inflammation:

This is a persistent low-level inflammation response and keeps your body in a constant state of stress.

Left untreated will start to damage healthy cells and has been linked to the development of cancers, heart disease, arthritis, type 2 diabetes, asthma, obesity, Alzheimer’s disease and strokes.

Cucurmin the active compound in Turmeric

Turmeric, a herb that has long been recognized for its medicinal properties and used for over 4000 years, has received interest from both the medical/scientific world over the last decade, as it is the major source of the polyphenol curcumin. It aids in the management of oxidative and inflammatory conditions, metabolic syndrome, arthritis, anxiety, and hyperlipidemia. It may also help in the management of exercise-induced inflammation and muscle soreness, thus enhancing recovery and performance in active people. In addition, a relatively low dose of the curcumin can provide health benefits for people that do not have diagnosed health conditions.

Traditionally used throughout Asia, Panax ginseng has been the most studied of all Ginsengs, with evidence based research in improved cogitative function / memory, improved sexual functioning, stimulated blood flow, lower lactate levels in exercise performance, reduced oxidative damage to cells, reduced muscle damage post exercise, noted to increase the antibody response to vaccinations when taken prior and lowering cancer risk.
